Following a thorough selection process, the Board of the Go-Ahead Group plc (“Go-Ahead”) is pleased to announce the appointment of Christian Schreyer as Group Chief Executive with effect from the conclusion of the Annual General Meeting on 5 November 2021. He will join the Group on 1 November.

• Martin has managed two of the UK’s busiest bus businesses (Brighton & Hove Buses and Metrobus) since 2013
• He has occupied senior roles across Go-Ahead since the mid-1980s
• His ground-breaking work as Managing Director has focused on community, partnerships, innovation, diversity and inclusion

• One of youngest depot managers in Go-Ahead’s history has been named chair of industry-first Women in Bus network
• The vice-chair of the network is the reigning Miss Sussex 2019
• Go-Ahead has set a company-wide target to increase female representation in bus from 11% to 20% by 2025
